Hitting the dusty trail, part two

That’s me on Tom, the chestnut horse, on a trail through the Saguaro National Forest on the east side of Tucson. The mountains in the distance are either Santa Catalina or Rincon Mountains.

It was so much fun to be out in the desert when the cacti were blooming, including huge, old saguaros.

After a couple of hours in the saddle, I was sun and wind worn and I thought my legs would never go back together again!

One can get in a car and see what man has made. One must get on a horse to see what God has made.
